Ancient stones, untold stories

A Heritage Lottery funded project designed to reveal a Cathedral’s heritage and significance
Project: Interpretation design Client: Rochester Cathedral

Visiting England’s second oldest cathedral had always been an enriching experience, if dampened slightly by the frustration of not being able to find out much about the place. Our brief was to tell the untold story of Rochester Cathedral — and to do so in a vivid, engaging and eloquent way through a palette of interpretation material. The theme ‘Ancient Stones, Untold Stories’ was adopted as the means to bring the past to life for today’s visitors. (The project won a Medway Tourism award).
