Just another worthy cause?

Helping to find a cure for a neuro degenerative condition and tackling charity fatigue.

Project: Awareness campaign   Client: MLD Support Association UK

Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) is a terrible childhood disease that at the moment has no cure. A normal, happy child or young adult gradually loses the ability, to walk, talk and feed themselves and becomes bedridden before the inevitable. Rather than tackle this shocking outcome head on, we decided to focus on a child’s possessions that are sadly no longer required and which get left behind, such as their baby walker, a first pair of shoes or their school lunch box. The final set of visuals were turned into posters, awareness leaflets and graphics for social media platforms.
