Making jaws drop

How our design scheme helped visitors understand the true nature of sharks and brought them face-to-face with four different species.
Project: Interpretation design   Client: London Aquarium

A major engineering achievement shoehorned into the basement of London’s County Hall, the London Aquarium has traditionally never been the easiest of places to find your way around. Our job was to change that. By addressing various wayfinding problems and by creating interpretation displays that would inform, educate and entertain visitors as they made their way around the 14 different zones. These included the vast lower Pacific shark tank — inhabited by some of the most misunderstood creatures on the planet.
