Running with an idea

How a chance meeting in a pub led to a coffee-table book being shortlisted for the British Sports Book Awards.
Project: 10th anniversary book   Client: parkrun

What began in 2004 with 13 runners in Bushy Park is now a global phenomenon that continues to grow a pace, doubling in size each year. To celebrate the first 10 years of parkrun, a team of creatives came together one evening and resolved to tell its remarkable story with runners’ interviews, vox pop and photos from all corners of the parkrun world. The project grew into a beautiful 120-page coffee-table book that was shortlisted for the best illustrated British sports book of 2015.
